Andreas Altmann was a model, actor, studied law and psychology, worked as an investment consultant, and road construction worker. He now lives as a foreign correspondent and travel book author in Paris. He has travelled for example with no money from Paris to Berlin (‘34 Tage/33 Nächte’). He was on the road in Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile (‘Reise durch einen einsamen Kontinent’, DuMont 2007) and in Australia (‘Im Land der Regenbogenschlange’, DuMont 2008), or has gone meditating in India (Triffst du Buddha, töte ihn!', DuMont 2010).
