Tine Dreyer is the pseudonym of an author who has been successfully writing criminal novels and thrillers as well as screenplays for years. Not only is she similar in age to her protagonist in The Menopause Murders, but she is also familiar with the horror chaos that sometimes affects the entire family - including all the absurd consequences. However, she prefers to leave the murdering to her novel heroine Liv. Just like Liv, Tine Dreyer lives in Cologne with her husband, two sons and a dog.
