This is especially worthwhile during the menopause, as hormonal dips may lead us to see everything in a negative light – though that can’t be said for murdered drug dealers, since they’re negative enough as it is.”
48-year-old Liv is a wife, mother, successful kitchen planner and – once her first hot flush unleashes a fatal chain of events – a murderer. At the very least, she’s guilty of manslaughter – after all, none of her crimes were really planned. These days, it’s not just hormone deficiencies keeping her up at night, but feelings of guilt. But giving herself up and going to jail is not an option; she’s got three teenage children to look after, plus her husband, Jörn, and don’t forget Marlies and Werner, her aging in-laws. When it comes to finding peace, one option remains: Liv must change her attitude, develop a positive mindset, find a new outlook on life. On hand to help are a former sex worker and her 86-year-old mother-in-law. Unfortunately, despite her best efforts, new murders follow – but at least she can rely on her two companions and their positive mindsets.
